Be Friendly and Happy

Be a Good Communicator
Successful communication is measured by how your partner in communication feels when talking with you and the degree of mutual understanding the conversation generates. When talking creates feelings of care, closeness and love, the future holds the promise for more of the same and your relationship will naturally deepen. Be Confident and Assertive
Feel confident and deserving of having good friends and a close and intimate relationship with the right person. Let the person of interest know that you seek his or her friendship and/or love. When rejection occasionally happens, don’t take it as a personal failing. Finding the right person to be close with is no different than shopping for the “right” house or car. Be certain you will in the end succeed building a strong social network.

Meaningful relationships are not built in a day. Shared experience and time builds strong bonds of care, affection and love. When friends and/or a committed and loving partner are present in your life you experience the kinds of feelings that make you feel alive. Love, joy, passion, being known, fear, vulnerability, and anger are common emotions. We nurture some of these feelings, while others we reject. All together they make us who we are and life worth living. On your death bed—and you should live many long and healthy years—you will review your relationships. You will understand that the close people in your life—your husband or wife/committed partner/son or daughter/friends—will determine, in your own eyes, the worth of your life; not money, status, or fame. Companionship and love are a valued treasure giving your life meaning and hope for the future.
